Review of Hilton Head Girls and Guys stretch with May River and Bluffton games!
Girls 57/24 winners over May River 14-5 HH after 1, 28-13 at half 40-22 at end of 3! and got beat 51-35 by Bluffton 17-13 Bluffton after 1, 31-20 at half, 43-31 Bluffton at the end of 3!
Guys lost to May River 43-29 9-7 MR after 1, 17-15 MR at half 29-28 HHI after 3 and beat Bluffton 60-42 17-9 HH after 1, 24-16 at half HH led, and 45-28 HH after 3!
Rebounds, missed opportunities shooting the basketball were key in all these games!! Some great and tenacious defense was played! The games were much more competitive than the scores would indicate! Lots of talent on all of these teams!
Preview Whale Branch hosting Bridges Prep! Big Headlines for Whale Branch hoops at home! Jeremiah Faber back in the low country coaching! Scrappy games last year at Bridges 31-29 final of the girls game in favor of BP 83-70 WB win over BP last year at Bridges. A lot of players are back for all four teams!! Girls won the first matchup 50-25 January 22nd! WB won 64-53 and 60-59 on November 21st and January 22nd Look forward to getting to Whale Branch!
