Transportation of Rescue Dogs to Philadelphia
On January 20, Pilots To The Rescue will transport nearly two dozen rescue dogs via airplane from the Hilton Head Humane Association to a rescue in Philadelphia, where they will become one step closer to finding their forever homes. The Hilton Head Humane Association is excited that these dogs are being taken to a no-kill rescue (the rescue in Philly receiving the dogs is Rylie’s Rescue). The dogs will depart from the Hilton Head airport at approximately 8:00 AM on Monday the 20th.
Pilots to the Rescue is an NYC-based nonprofit that transports animals from under-resourced shelters and takes them to rescue and adoption centers where they can be cared for, fostered and placed with loving families. The organization fills a crucial gap in the rescue process allowing animals to be adopted and spared from euthanasia.
