Healthy food is purchased to supplement our food rescue operation, allowing us to increase the amount of fresh produce and proteins to our agencies.
This includes Free Farmer's Market style events in partnership with Low Country Food Bank, purchased food from area farmers and a foodservice distributor.
In addition, we have distributed many pounds of chicken to agencies and have more to share in 2025.
